I'm an open book...kind of.

Well, Hello!

Greetings! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Jennifer, The Curious Columnist. I've been many things in my 38 years - a child and teen model, a talent agent, a celebrity wardrobe stylist, a startup chief of staff, a freelance writer, a divorcee, and most importantly a Whoopi Goldberg super-fan (to mention a few). I've had a lifetime of unbelievable experiences, and I'm all about sharing the personal growth tips I've gleaned - except on social that is. (I dislike social media with abandon, but I'm considering attempting to embrace it.)

If you're wondering who the heck I am, I'd like to think I'm a Southern Belle New Yorker hybrid. I hail from Louisville, Kentucky, but spent many moons in the Big Apple as a wardrobe stylist for TV. A few years back I pulled a fast one on everyone I know and said sayonara to the big city, relocating to a small Island on the Florida/Georgia state line that is reminiscent of Mayberry. (I'm an avid classic TV afficionado.)

After embracing Island life and eventually becoming happily divorced, (a lot more on that later!) I pursued a long-held writing dream and began penning my weekly column, "The Curious Columnist" for Florida's oldest weekly newspaper, The News Leader.

Much to my surprise and delight, my quirky written curiosity about embracing life lessons somehow resonated with readers, and this blog was born. My sincere thanks for joining me on this ride. Let's take turns driving. (I don't do highways.)

With much gratitude,

Jennifer
